Governor Lynch to Nominate John Kissinger to the Superior Court

Governor John Lynch today announced he will nominate attorney John Kissinger to the superior court at tomorrow's Governor and Council meeting. The Executive Council must confirm the nomination.

Kissinger, of Hopkinton, has been an attorney with Nelson, Kinder and Mosseau, PC in Manchester for the last 13 years. Prior to joining that firm, he was a state prosecutor in New Hampshire.

"John Kissinger is an experienced trial attorney who has worked on civil and criminal cases as both a private attorney and a state prosecutor. He has an in-depth knowledge of the law, extensive experience in the superior court, and has demonstrated tremendous amount of professionalism and civility throughout his career," Governor Lynch said. "That is why I think he would be a great addition to our superior court system."

Kissinger joined Nelson, Kinder, and Mosseau, PC in 1999. In recent years, Kissinger chaired the firm's legal malpractice litigation group. Before joining the Manchester firm, he served as a Senior Assistant Attorney General in the Criminal Bureau of the New Hampshire Attorney General's Office, where he was responsible for prosecuting homicide cases. Prior to serving at the Attorney General's office, Kissinger worked for several years at Goodwin Procter, LLP, a large Boston law firm.

He graduated from Georgetown University in 1987, and from Georgetown University Law Center in 1990.

Kissinger has been involved with his community as a youth sports coach for several years.
